While winter provides its own set of unique opportunities for romance, there’s a reason that everyone likes to talk about Summer Lovin’. There’s no better time to get outside and hit the road for some adventures, and nothing ignites passion quite like a little adventure. Here are some ways to take advantage of the sexiest season.
Hit the beach
There’s a reason you assumed this would be our first suggestion, and there’s a reason we put it #1 anyway: The beach is all about good vibes. As long as you’re going on a sunny day, it’s hard for things to go wrong. Swimming, tossing a frisbee and making sandcastles are all activities that will bring a smile to the face of both you and your lady. And when you’re tired out from all of that, kick back with some beers and catch some rays.
Have a picnic
Just like going to the beach, a picnic gives you a great chance to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with your girl. But while the beach presents a playful setting, a picnic is a little more romantic. Take the time to prepare the food yourself, have a blanket all set up and, hey, maybe even put on a nice shirt. Chivalry isn’t dead, and you made chicken salad to prove it.
Check out a baseball game
Of all live sporting events, a baseball game is easily the best atmosphere for a date. It’s outside in the summer, it sets a relaxing pace, and you don’t have to totally understand the sport to get the gist of what’s going on. Share hot dogs and Cracker Jacks with your date, put your arm around your her and enjoy the game. Pro tip: Skip any game where you’re going to be too into the action on the field. Being the guy who shouts “YANKEES SUCK!” while on a date is a bad look.
