When you are surrounded by heaps and heaps of clutter and mess, you won’t be able to think straight. Start by de-cluttering a small area of your house or apartment a few hours before your date. It’s going to make you feel better, and the de-cluttering itself is therapeutic in lessening your anxiety.

You might need to do this a few days before your date. You never want to feel jump or too excited on top of being anxious. One way that you can lessen this is by cutting your consumption of caffeine. Yes, that means coffee and soda.
These techniques are simple enough to do right before your date. The best thing is that you can use the same techniques when you are anxious about anything.
